Counseling for Individuals, Families, Couples,
and Children
I’m glad that you have decided to look into the kind of counseling I do, which is called Narrative Therapy. This website should offer lots of answers to questions you may have about this type of work and why you may find it helpful.
The decision to seek counseling is rarely an easy one. Often it takes quite a bit of time to decide if it might be something to try. Sometimes it feels embarrassing or concerning that someone else might try to "fix you" or "make you better." These are worthwhile concerns and ones that I share.
My goal is to always make you feel heard and comfortable. I truly believe that everyone has strengths that allow them to live their lives the way they want to, but our experiences, culture, relationships, and thoughts sometimes hide these strengths from us. Uncovering stories of strength and connection is what Narrative Therapy is all about, which is why I have chosen to educate myself about it and practice it with my clients. I find it to be energy-producing, engaging, and easy for everyone involved in the process.
Please look around and learn about me, my way of practicing, my beliefs and experience, and testimonials from clients. Then feel free to contact me in whatever way feels most comfortable (email, through this website, or on the phone).
