Rates
I charge $55 per 1-hour session - self pay (cash, check, or credit card)I am able to use a sliding scale should this create a significant financial burden. Some clients only see me every 2 weeks, which enables them to more easily fund their sessions.
FYI: I do not currently take health insurance plans. This is due to lobbying issues in New York State that have prevented Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs) from receiving insurance reimbursements in the past. The good news is that this is changing and quite a few insurance carriers in NY have begun to reimburse LMHCs. I am anticipating that in the next few years I will be able to accept most major carriers in the Rochester area.
Two more ways to extend the value of your payment:
1. Submit receipts to a Flexible Spending Account with your employer toreceive reimbursement
2. Refer people you know to my practice. If someone schedules and holds
their first appointment, your next appointment will be discounted 50%.
